Hassan Martin might not be ready to start the season on time as the American big underwent two surgeries this summer and is on the way to recovery.
Martin had knee issues late in the 2020-21 season and has undergone surgery in February, however, the center also underwent additional surgery on the recommendation of the US doctors and without informing Olympiacos about it on time.
The club fined the player for not informing them about the latter surgery on time as he is under contract but nonetheless Martin is among the squad preparing for the upcoming season.
He is following the team’s program normally with the addition of a special strengthening plan but it’s still not 100% certain if he will actually start off the season on time.
