Barcelona advanced to the Catalan League final, Olympiacos and Real Madrid picked up wins to boost their preseason preparations

Barcelona keeps up picking wins and defeated Joventut Badalona 82-69 to advance to the Catalan League final (September 5), where they will meet the winner of the Manresa-Andorra matchup.

Brandon Davies led the way for Sarunas Jasikevicius’ squad with 13 points, and newcomers Rokas Jokubaitis and Nicolas Laprovittola added 11 points and 10 points respectively.

Badalona’s Derek Willis posted a game-high performance with 19 points, Vladimir Brodziansky, Josep Busquets and Joel Parra all had 9 points.

Olympiacos enjoyed a comfortable 99-64 victory against Lavrio at the bwin Tournament Against COVID-19 in Piraeus to advance to Sunday’s final where they will face AS Monaco.

Sasha Vezenkov paced the Reds with 20 points, Giannoulis Larentzakis added 14, Thomas Walkup had 12 and Kostas Sloukas left the court with 10 points.

On the other end, newcomers Al-Wajid Aminu and Marcus Lewis led Lavrio with 11 and 10 points respectively.

Real Madrid is back on the right track in preparation for the new season after beating UCAM Murcia 80-65 at the Torneo Costa del Sol in Malaga.
