Crvena Zvezda forward Aaron White suffered a hand injury during the second half of his team’s preparation game against Panathinaikos at the MagentaSport Cup.

White went all in for a dunk and rolled to the floor, falling hands first. He was spotted sitting up in pain, with blood on his face after the fall. Okaro White was called with an unsportsmanlike foul on the Zvezda forward, who was immediately treated by the team’s medical staff.

Check the incident in the video below:

UPDATE: Crvena Zvezda informed that White has suffered a broken forearm bone during his fall. He is set to undergo surgery in Munich on Sunday at the latest and the expected timetable for his recovery is six weeks.

In its statement, the club further expressed dissatisfaction with the “inappropriate behavior and intrusions of some members of BC Panathinaikos during the game, as well as the absence of any reaction from medical staff and doctors”.

Panathinaikos responded to the allegation with an official statement later on Saturday, wishing a speedy recovery to their former player and stating that there was no “lack of reaction” from their side. As it was further explained, the team’s doctor could not travel to Munich for the tournament.

“In this context, we had received all the guarantees from the organizers that there is full medical coverage and care for the tournament”, mentions the Greek team.
