ASVEL Villeurbanne signed EuroLeague veteran forward James Gist until the end of 2021, the French club announced.
Gist spent the previous season with Bayern Munich. He averaged 5.6 points, 3.0 rebounds in 21:34 minutes in EuroLeague as the club made the playoffs for the first time ever.
Before Bayern, Gist had established himself in EuroLeague with Panathinaikos Athens. After seven years with the Greens he joined Crvena Zvezda and then Bayern last year.
Gist and ASVEL will debut in this season’s EuroLeague against Zalgiris Kaunas (1/10) at home.
