Sergio Llull has started off the season with discomfort, which has limited him to playing less than 13 minutes per game in the Euroleague. The Real Madrid captain has been unable to perform at 100% after being hit on the shoulder during the opening clash against Anadolu Efes.

Pablo Laso confirmed in the preview of the match against Fenerbahce that Llull will have to pause for a while in order to recover and prevent the problem from becoming worse.

“We have to stop for a bit when it comes Llull. He got a strong hit against Efes to the shoulder and he’s had a lot of discomfort during these past weeks. We thought it was just a blow but we are at risk of it being something else,” the coach said.

On the other hand, Laso will be able to count on Adam Hanga, who played in Euroleague last week but rested in the Spanish league: “Hanga had a little knee problem on Monaco day and held out a bit against Panathinaikos. We preferred to give him rest in Lugo but on Tuesday he trained well with the team. He is not one hundred percent, but every day he is better and in principle, he will be able to play tomorrow.”
