Nigel Williams-Goss only played seven minutes during Real Madrid‘s win over Fenerbahce on Thursday night for Round 5 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. The American guard left the game early after he injured the third finger of his left hand.

Williams-Goss underwent further examination on Friday, which revealed he had suffered an extensor tendon injury in his left hand, while the estimated time of his return is yet to be determined.

Per Real Madrid‘s announcement:

“After tests carried out on our player Nigel Williams-Goss by Real Madrid Medical Services, he was diagnosed with an injury to the extensor tendon of the third finger of his left hand. Pending evolution.”
