Fenerbahce Beko, set to complete the latest two-game week of the 2021-22 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season, lists both Dyshawn Pierre and Danilo Barthel as game-time decisions for the Round 11 visit at Zalgiris Kaunas, scheduled to take place tomorrow, Friday.

Pierre, 28, recently sidelined with a groin injury, picked up a calf injury on the road versus FC Bayern Munich Tuesday. He has logged 6.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 0.7 steals, and 0.6 blocks per game over nine appearances so far in the 2021-22 edition of Europe’s top club continental competition. His domestic contribution amounts to 9.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.2 blocks per BSL contest.

Barthel, 30, has been sidelined for just over one month since the successful arthroscopic knee surgery on October 12. He was cleared to practice last week. Prior to moving to the injury list, he registered seven points in his lone EuroLeague appearance of the season.

The Turkish powerhouse dropping to 3-7 in the top end of the double-game week set a two-way tie with ALBA Berlin in 15th place of the EuroLeague standings. Down 18th, Zalgiris finally getting off the mark with the home win over Panathinaikos OPAP upped the W-L tally to 1-9.

Head coach Jure Zdovc will continue without captain Paulius Jankunas, forced to the injury list along with French big man Joffrey Lauvergne and youngster Mantas Rubstavicius. The latest addition to the squad, Regimantas Miniotas will also sit out, but is likely to log his EuroLeague debut next week.
