While Anadolu Efes put up a feast on the court in the second half, there was a heated moment between Monaco head coach Zvezdan Mitrovic and star Mike James.
The two had an argument, and James went to the end of the bench and left immediately for the locker room.
When asked about the incident in the post-game press conference, Mitrovic looked surprised, stating “I just put him on the bench” and that he didn’t see his player heading to the lockers.

As seen in the video, after their exchange, Mitrovic turned his back as James walked off.
James returned afterward to sit on the bench with his warm-up jersey and stayed there until the end of the game.
