The two US imports are expected to be released by the Greek club with Ferrell asking himself to leave the team

Panathinaikos has eight non-Greek players with the limit in the Greek league being six, however this is about to change.

Yogi Ferrell and Jehyve Floyd are leaving the team. Both of them are not active on the Greek league roster, however there’s no limit on foreign players for the EuroLeague games. And in both cases, so far they have a very limited role.

That’s why Ferrell himself asked from the team to be released in order to find elsewhere more minutes and a different role.

On his case the decision is not final yet but Panathinaikos is expected to let him go. After all he is averaging so far just eight minutes in five EuroLeague games.

On the other hand, Panathinaikos is already on the market for a big and Floyd is expected to be replaced soon. After the moral boost thanks to the road win in the Greek League over arch-rival Olympiacos, the Greens want to improve and more moves are expected soon.
