Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv announced Friday that they have released big man Mathias Lessort, after signing a short-term two-month contract at the beginning of the season.
Lessort, who won the EuroCup last season with AS Monaco, stepped in for Maccabi when Ante Zizic got injured and participated in six EuroLeague contests this season, with an average of 7.4 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1 steal across 11:36 on the court.
The French center, who has played for Crvena Zvezda, Unicaja and Bayern Munich has now become a free agent.
