By Eurohoops team / info@eurohoops.net

Baskonia announced Wednesday that Rokas Giedraitis, Tadas Sedekerskis and Arturs Kurucs won’t be able to travel to Germany with the rest of the squad due to the flu. As the team informed, all three players have turned in negative COVID-19 tests.

Baskonia faces Bayern on Thursday for Round 17 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague with hopes to bounce back from two consecutive defeats and improve their 5-11 record.

Bayern also looks to snap a two-game skid and push further up the standings (7-9 current record).

Per Baskonia’s announcement:

“Tadas Sedekerskis, Arturs Kurucs and Rokas Giedraitis are not traveling to Germany this afternoon due to the flu which is pending evolution. […] The three players have undergone both an antigen test and a PCR test and all three have been negative but will rest in Vitoria-Gasteiz. They will not travel to the German town in the afternoon and are pending developments for the game against Bayern Munich”.
