Olimpia Milano announced Thursday (23/12) that four members of the team tested positive for coronavirus. The total number of COVID-19 cases on the Italian team has now risen to 10 since six members had tested positive Tuesday (21/12).

This week’s EuroLeague game of Milano against Zalgiris Kaunas had already been postponed since all members of the team are placed in home quarantine according to Italy’s health and safety rules.

Milano is the third EuroLeague team to register multiple coronavirus cases recently after Real Madrid (seven players plus coach Pablo Laso) and Panathinaikos (two members).
