Panathinaikos has a total of six confirmed COVID-19 cases

By Eurohoops team / info@eurohoops.net

COVID-19 cases are skyrocketing in the EuroLeague in recent days and Panathinaikos OPAP Athens confirmed Tuesday two additional positives in the team.

The Greens’ Tuesday practice has been postponed according to protocols and further PCR testing will be conducted Wednesday. Currently, the team has confirmed six cases in total.

Panathinaikos is scheduled to face Zalgiris Kaunas at home (December 30, 20:00 CET), though if more results turn in positive Wednesday, the game could be suspended.

EuroLeague has already proceeded to the suspension of three games for Round 18: Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul – Real Madrid, Olympiacos Piraeus – CSKA Moscow, and AX Armani Exchange Milan – ALBA Berlin.
