Olympiacos Piraeus announced that one more team member tested positive for COVID-19 Thursday (30/12). The total number of cases on the team has now risen to nine (seven players and two staff members).
UPDATE: One more player tested positive for COVID-19, the Reds announced later Thursday.
This week’s EuroLeague game of Olympiacos against CSKA Moscow that was scheduled for Wednesday (29/12) was suspended by the competition and will be postponed to be played on a later date. The same thing happened with the Fenerbahce Beko – Real Madrid, ASVEL Villeurbanne – Bayern Munich and Olimpia Milano – ALBA Berlin matches.
