Zalgiris – Zvezda suspended, Euroleague announced new dates for six games

Zalgiris and Crvena Zvezda’s Round 21 clash entered the list of suspended games while Euroleague found the dates for six matchups that were previously suspended

The number of suspended games in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague keeps increasing with the latest being the Round 21 clash between Zalgiris Kaunas and Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade.

“Zvezda requested the suspension after several team members tested positive for COVID-19, which leaves the team without the minimum eight players on the Authorization List fit to play, Euroleague announced.

Meanwhile, six games across three Rounds (17,18,19) have been rescheduled with new dates.

Per Euroleague Basketball:

Following the ECA Shareholders approval of the modification proposal presented by Euroleague Basketball of the COVID-19 Special regulations, the following games have been rescheduled to be played on the stated new dates and times:

ROUND 17
Zalgiris Kaunas vs AX Armani Exchange Milan, February 8, 2022 at 20:00 Local Time.

ROUND 18
AX Armani Exchange Milan vs ALBA Berlin, January 18, 2022 at 20:30 Local Time.

LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne vs FC Bayern Munich, January 25, 2022 at 21:00 Local Time.

Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul vs Real Madrid, February 8, 2022 at 20:45 Local Time.

Panathinaikos OPAP Athens vs Zalgiris Kaunas, January 26, 21:00 Local Time
