Panathinaikos OPAP recently added Stefan Jovic to the squad but the team will have to wait for his arrival longer than expected as the Serbian point guard tested positive for COVID-19.

His arrival was initially supposed to be delayed by a day or two due to personal reasons but that has now changed and he will have to recover from the coronavirus before taking the trip.

It also remains to be seen if this will impact his physical condition as Jovic has been having trouble throughout the second part of 2021 with injuries.

His last stint was with Khimki Moscow from 2019 to 2021 while he also had some time with the Serbian national team last summer before getting sidelined with injury.
