Zadar had its best shot for a win in the tournament the team is hosting, but Bayern Munich prevailed (72-66). After this result the Sunday games are decided with Bayern facing Fenerbahce, Darussafaka playing against Olympiacos and Zadar vs Crvena Zvezda.
Despite a 22-13 start for Zadar, Bayern bounced back in the third quarter with a 22-10 partial score. Deon Thompson (14 p.), K.C.Rivers (13 p.), Alex Renfroe (12 p.) and Dusko Savanovic (10 p.) scored in double digits against a feisty opponent.
