Nikola Mirotic returned a negative PCR test for COVID-19 and should be ready for the Spanish league clash against Real Madrid

After a week since testing positive for COVID-19, Nikola Mirotic turned up negative on the most recent PCR test and will re-join the squad.

Mirotic missed the Euroleague clash against UNICS Kazan which Barcelona lost while he is expected to be ready for the game against Real Madrid in the Spanish league scheduled for Sunday, January 23.

The 30-year-old has been averaging 16.3 points this season across 35 games while also adding 5.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game.

Barca is placed second in Euroleague standings with 16-5 while they hold an 11-3 record in the Spanish league. In both competitions, they are ranked behind the first-placed Real Madrid.
