Olympiacos has ruled out both Giorgos Printezis and Shaquille McKissic from the upcoming home fixture opposite Crvena Zvezda mts.

In addition, Hassan Martin is considered questionable to play in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season Round 23 game scheduled to be held at Peace and Friendship Stadium Thursday evening (20:00 CET).

McKissic, 31, has been dealing with a minor thigh injury in recent days. Since picking up the injury in last Thursday’s EuroLeague Regular Season Round 22 contest at Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv, he did not play against Kolossos H Hotels Sunday and did not participate in team practices after the Stoiximan Basket League Regular Season Round 13 affair.

Printezis, 32, after skipping the first half checked in the latest domestic fixture after the break. However, he will also miss the game versus the Serbian club.

Martin, 26, similar to the aforementioned teammates also missed practice Wednesday. He still has a chance to become available tomorrow.

Sasha Vezenkov sat out versus Kolossos but will return to action, as expected. The remaining players will be available as well, confirmed head coach Giorgos Bartzokas previewing the next game.

The Greek powerhouse has won all nine home contests so far and is tied with Zenit Saint Petersburg in fourth place on the EuroLeague table. Both sides sit at 12-7 trailing Real Madrid (17-3), FC Barcelona (16-5), and AX Armani Exchange Milan (13-6).

As for Crvena Zvezda, the visiting team comes in healthy and with a 7-12 W-L tally, 2.5 games outside the spots leading to the 2022 Playoffs.

UPDATE: Olympiacos further announced Wednesday that two more team members have tested positive (a total of two players and one staff member).
