Real Madrid will face Monaco without Nigel Williams-Goss, who tested positive for COVID-19

Real Madrid announced Wednesday that guard Nigel Williams-Goss has tested positive for COVID-19 and will remain sidelined in the team’s upcoming EuroLeague Round 23 game against AS Monaco (January 28, 19:00 CET).

In his first season with the “Whites”, Williams-Goss is averaging 7.3 points, 2.4 assists and 1.9 rebounds in 17:02 minutes across 13 EuroLeague contests.

Currently, Real Madrid sits on top of the EuroLeague standings with a 17-3 record, after downing UNICS Kazan at home Tuesday for their rescheduled Round 19 meeting.
