Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv confirmed that two members of the team have tested positive for COVID-19, following tests conducted Friday.

Maccabi‘s scheduled EuroLeague Round 23 game against Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul at home was postponed, per the request of the Turkish club.

Ioannis Sfairopoulos’ squad had just recovered an eight-game losing skid in EuroLeague by beating Olympiacos last week and turned that victory into a streak in their rescheduled Round 20 game against ALBA Berlin, to improve to a 9-11 record in the competition.

As the team further informed, their scheduled game against Hapoel Holon for the Israeli Winner League will take place as scheduled this Saturday.
