The aftermath of the Greek EuroLeague derby brought a fine to Olympiacos.

Olympiacos Piraeus was fined 36,500 by EuroLeague Basketball for the throwing of a firecracker, the use of lasers and the insulting chants by fans during the Round 30 game vs. Panathinaikos Athens.

While Olympiacos has been punished with a financial penalty, the club may be in danger of holding a playoff game behind closed doors if similar behavior is repeated in the last remaining regular-season home game vs. Barcelona.

Olympiacos actually clinched a spot in the playoffs thanks to the win over Panathinaikos. The Reds will be making their postseason return for the first time after 2018.
