Euroleague Basketball announced “Back to Basketball”, a docuseries that will launch on Amazon Prime Video on April 1st. It will consist of two episodes hosted by Serbian movie and TV series star Darko Peric.

Per Euroleague Basketball:

Euroleague Basketball is proud to announce that the new Euroleague Basketball Originals docuseries Back to Basketball will launch on Amazon Prime Video beginning on April 1.

The new series will feature two 52-minutes episodes hosted by Serbian movie and TV series star Darko Peric (Money Heist), giving all fans an inside view of the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.

The documentary series will show never-seen footage starting in the 2019-20 season, which was set to break all previous EuroLeague audience records until the whole world was impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, forcing the most difficult decision since the competition’s inception – the cancellation of the rest of the season. The EuroLeague came back strong in 2020-21 to complete its most competitive season ever and to crown Anadolu Efes Istanbul as a first-time continental champion after an unforgettable Final Four held in Cologne, Germany.

The docuseries features some of the biggest names in European basketball, including Zeljko Obradovic, the nine-time European champion and current Partizan NIS Belgrade head coach; Vasilije Micic, the 2020-21 EuroLeague season and Final Four MVP from Anadolu Efes Istanbul; and two-times NBA champion Pau Gasol, among others. The series will show exclusive images of the 2021 Final Four based on behind-the-scenes access to training sessions, locker rooms, team meetings and more.

Back to Basketball will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in more than 200 countries and territories.
