Panathinaikos has gone through big changes in management and the team has already started planning for the 2022-23 season. When it comes to the roster, according to Sport-fm, the club is considering adding Derick Walton.
The American guard has a history in the Euroleague with Zalgiris and ASVEL, while he has also played for Alba for a shortwhile in 2019.
In the 2018/19 season, Walton posted 8.6 points and 2.5 assists in 17 matches with the Lithuanians, while in the 2020/21 season with the French, he averaged 6.1 points and 2.25 assists in 8 matches.
He’s also got NBA experience with a total of 45 games in the league. He played for the Pistons, the Heat, and the Clippers. He was the NBA G League assists leader in 2022, playing for the Motor City Cruise.
