Barcelona center Brandon Davies has been in the Final Four two times so far without winning the trophy.
The American big man made his first appearance in the tournament in 2018 with Zalgiris Kaunas and then also played in 2021 with Barcelona. The common factor was his coach Sarunas Jasikevicius.
“I want to win the EuroLeague championship for many different reasons,” Davies said to Eurohoops. I didn’t do that until now. But maybe now it’s our time.”
Davies saw his teammate Nikola Mirotic being named the MVP of the 2021-22 EuroLeague.
“He has a very good season once again and he’s really a fantastic player,” Davies said. “The best in his position in Europe. His way of playing makes us big guys usually happy.”
