Kyle Hines remains Milan-bound as Olimpia Milano announced the extension of his contract Monday, confirming prior reports, and the four-time EuroLeague champion shared his thoughts about the new deal.

Milano is a city that my family and I have come to love, I like this organization, I like to play with this group of guys. I chose Milano to keep winning, which is the only important thing for me, I’m happy to be able to continue here,” told Hines via olimpiamilano.com.

Olimpia Milano beat Virtus Bologna Saturday to claim the 2022 LegaBasket championship, and Hines added one more title to his long collection.

“We are thrilled that Kyle has decided to extend his legendary career and to have chosen to do it again in Milan. His example is a great inspiration to all of us and his contribution on the court will be essential to reach the goals we have set,” said Milano GM Christos Stavropoulos.

Hines, 35, joined Olimpia Milano in 2020 after spending seven years with CSKA Moscow. His European career also includes stops at Olympiacos and Brose Bamberg, as well as an early start with Veroli in Italy’s second division.
