Mouhammadou Jaiteh ended the season as the starting center of Virtus Bologna and he will keep this role, having a contract with the club for next season. However, there’s interest for him coming from Spain, per Eurohoops sources.
Of course, this interest can’t change much, since Jaiteh has a contract for next season and Virtus Bologna is more than satisfied from the player, but you never know what the future may hold.
Jaiteh, the EuroCup MVP, will have the chance to compete for the second time in his career in the EuroLeague. Back in the 2013-14 he played as a member of Nanterre averaging 4,6 ppg and 3,7 rpg when he was considered an NBA prospect.
The 27-years old Jaiteh is now a different player and that was proven beyong any doubt in the EuroCup, where he averaged 11.8 ppg and 7.5 rebounds with Virtus, emerging as a key member of coach Sergio Scariolo’s team.
