Anadolu Efes announced Tuesday they have parted ways with big man Chris Singleton after three years. According to Eurohoops’ Aris Barkas, Panathinaikos is interested in reuniting with Singleton and has initiated talks, though no offer has been made yet.

Singleton, 32, joined Efes in 2019 and has helped the team lift back-to-back EuroLeague titles in 2021 and 2022, as well as the Turkish BSL championship in 2021.

He averaged 6.5 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 12 Turkish BSL games with Efes in 2021-22, and posted 3.9 points, 2.8 rebounds and 0.4 assists in 17 minutes across 36 EuroLeague contests in his third campaign with Efes and seventh overall in the competition.

Singleton, the 18th overall pick of the 2011 NBA Draft, began his career with the Washington Wizards and landed in Europe for the first time in 2015-16 with Lokomotiv Kuban. He spent two seasons in Panathinaikos between 2016 and 2018 and his last stop before Efes was FC Barcelona in 2018-19.
