The final reinforcement for Crvena Zvezda mts is NBL champion and MVP, Jaylen Adams.

Adams, 26, will introduce himself on the European stage. Since coming out of St. Bonaventure in 2018, he has paired 41 games played in the NBA with multiple stints in the G League and moved on to the Sydney Kings making waves in the NBL based in Australia and New Zealand. The Atlanta Hawks and Milwaukee Bucks made out his run in the NBA in the 2018-19 and 2020-21 seasons, respectively.

The Baltimore-born point guard was named NBL MVP leading the Kings to the NBL championship for the fourth time in team history and first since 2005. Averaging 20.1 points, 6.0 assists, 5.1 rebounds, 1.1 steals, and 0.3 blocks per contest over 21 appearances in the Regular Season was followed up by 25.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists over three appearances in the Playoffs. A low-grade hamstring strain forced him to miss the last two games of the Finals.

Shifting to the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, he joined Zvezda on a one-year contract confirming an earlier report of being set to become the final addition to the roster, per Mozzart Sport. The team headed by tactician Vlada Jovanovic was seeking another point guard to complete the 2022-23 picture.

Already an extremely busy offseason with Ben Bentil, John Holland, Dalibor Ilic, Hassan Martin, Nemanja Nedovic, and Filip Petrusev coming in for the Belgrade outfit. Continuing players include Ognjen Dobric, Nikola Ivanovic, Ognjen Kuzmic, Stefan Lazarevic, Branko Lazic, Stefan Markovic, Luka Mitrovic, and Aaron White.
