Sasha Vezenkov produced buckets and dominated the boards for Olympiacos against Zalgiris.

Olympiacos Piraeus forward Sasha Vezenkov was named MVP of Round 2 of the EuroLeague regular season.

The Bulgarian player posted 23 points and a career-high 14 rebounds for 37 PIR (the highest this week in the competition) in a 90 – 80 home win for his team over Zalgiris Kaunas.

Vezenkov shot 6-10 on 2-pointers, 2-4 3-pointers and went 5-6 from the free throw line over the 36:26 minutes he spent on the floor. He also put up two assists, two steals and forced his opponents to foul him five times.

This is the fifth time in Vezenkov’s career that he claims weekly MVP honors in EuroLeague.
