Alex Tyus will replace Joffrey Louvergne who suffered an ACL injury

After an ACL injury sidelined Joffrey Lauvergne, ASVEL went on the market for a big man as a replacement. According to Israeli journalist Arale Wisberg, Alex Tyus and the French team are in advanced negotiations.

The 34-year-old big man from Missouri began his professional career in Maccabi Ahadod. He had two stints in Maccabi Tel Aviv, then UNICS, Galatasaray, and Real Madrid.

Last season he played in Turkey for Pinar Karsiyaka.

In eight EuroLeague seasons, he averaged 7,3 points and 4,4 rebounds.
