During the Real Madrid-Virtus Bologna game in Round 5 of the EuroLeague, one point was wrongly added to the home side

Virtus Bologna won against Real Madrid with a great performance by Sergio Scariolo’s team, but during the game, there has been a mistake regarding the score. One point was wrongly added to Real Madrid, and now the EuroLeague has announced the score to be changed.

Here’s the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague full statement:

“During the game between Real Madrid and Virtus Segafredo Bologna of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season Round 5, with 6:59 minutes remaining on the game clock of the fourth quarter, Dzanan Musa of Real Madrid committed a turnover resulting in Virtus ball possession.

The USC (Unified Scorers Crew) wrongly introduced a free throw conversion of Dzanan Musa, instead of the turnover committed. The situation was not corrected during the game leading to a wrong final score of the game 92-95.

The correct final score of the game is 91-95 and all game and individual statistics have already been corrected on Euroleague Basketball official platforms”.
