Anadolu Efes beat Barcellona 96-86 in the 2022-23 EuroLeague Round 8, and the newcomer Isaiah Taylor, who’s actually replacing Shane Larkin, spent 16 minutes on the court, scoring 4 points.

After the game, he talked with Eurohoops. There was a great atmosphere today. We had difficulty in the first part of the game, but then we took control of the game. Vasilije Micic and Will Clyburn did a great job as our leaders. We played like a team today and it helped us win the atmosphere in our court“, he said.

Then, he went on to speak about the future competition with Shane Larkin, when he will come back from his injury. “Shane Larkin’s presence doesn’t put any pressure on me. Shane’s a great player, but I know what I can do on the field, and I know my skills. That’s why it doesn’t put much pressure on me”, he added.

He wants to prove himself with the reigning EuroLeague champions. “This is a great organization. The coaches do a great job and place players in positions they can help the team, making all these individual skills a team. I want to show them what I can do here. I think we have a very talented staff from head to toe”, he commented about the coaching staff.
