The Bulgarian leader of Olympiacos got the third EuroLeague Round MVP of the 2022-23 season so far

Sasha Vezenkov has been named the EuroLeague Round 8 MVP after his amazing performance in Olympiacos‘ 82-71 victory on the road against Bayern Munich.

The Bulgarian forward had 20 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1 block, missing only 3 shots all night. He didn’t commit a turnover and drew 8 fouls, combining for a career-high performance index rating of 43, the highest in the competition since February 2021.

After winning the EuroLeague Round 2 MVP and sharing the EuroLeague Round 4 MVP with Mike James and Nicolò Melli, this is his 3rd award of the season so far.

Sasha Vezenkov is averaging 20 points, 8.9 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.1 steals per game in the 2022-23 EuroLeague, shooting with incredible percentages: 67.9% from two points, 48-8% from the arc, and 85.7% at the charity stripe.

He leads the league in points per game, total rebounds, and PIR (28.3) per game.
