After being announced Saturday as the newest EA7 Emporio Armani Milan addition, Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot is set to make his EuroLeague debut with the Italian team.

The French player, who left Europe in 2016, has never played in the most significant European competition and will play his first EuroLeague game against the reigning champions Anadolu Efes.

“Tim Luwawu-Cabarrot, an Olympic and European silver medalist will make his debut. He is a player with solid NBA experience and is in his prime. He didn’t have the chance to practice with the team, but he will extend the rotation a little bit and give Coach Messina a small forward with some size and dynamism”, Milan’s press release says.

The former Phoenix Suns and Atlanta Hawks player will try to help Milan bounce back in the EuroLeague after a 3-5 start at the beginning of the 2022-23 season. Anadolu Efes currently has the same record.
