In the EuroLeague Round 10 82-72 win against EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, Dimitris Itoudis reached another milestone.

The victory against Ettore Messina’s team, in fact, was the 200th in the biggest European competition for the legendary Greek coach out of 265 games.

This means that he only lost 65 EuroLeague games, with an incredibly high winning record percentage of 75.5%.

Dimitris Itoudis joined an élite top-5 list with names such as Zeljko Obradovic, Pablo Laso, and Ettore Messina.

He’s the second youngest head coach to reach 200 victories at 52 years old, behind the current Zenit Saint Petersburg coach Xavi Pascual, who did it at 46.

Next in line to get their names into the “200 wins” club? Dusko Ivanovic (188 wins/336 games), Ergin Ataman (182/363) e Georgios Bartzokas (156/282).

The first five head coaches in EuroLeague history by games won:

  1. Zeljiko Obradovic – 317 wins/463 games (68.5%)
  2. Ettore Messina – 288/415 (69.4%)
  3. Xavi Pascual – 241/356 (67.7%)
  4. Pablo Laso – 236/341 (69.2%)
  5. Dimitris Itoudis – 200/265 (75.5%)
