Milos Teodosic will miss games against Crvena Zvezda and Olympiacos due to a suspension

Virtus Bologna playmaker Miloš Teodosic was suspended for two games due to a conflict with the referee Damir Javor during the match with Efes.

This means that the 35-year-old Teodosic will miss the match with Crvena Zvezda on Friday, as well as the next one with Olympiacos.

A little less than five minutes before the end of the match against Efes, the Serbian playmaker was called for an offensive foul by grabbing Embaye’s leg, and at the moment when the three refs wanted to make sure via the instant replay system if there was a basis for an unsportsmanlike personal foul, Teodosic went at them.

Teodosic first was punished with a technical, and soon after the Slovenian referee Damir Javor showed him another technical foul, he exploded.

Since sitting out the opening round of the 2022-23 season, Teodosic settled in a reserve role and came off the bench in the next nine games up to the clash with the reigning back-to-back EuroLeague champions. He averaged 8.6 points, 4.3 assists, 1.6 rebounds, and 0.6 steals per contest.
