As announced by the Spanish club, Valencia‘s playmaker Chris Jones will be sidelined for the next games “due to arthritis in his right knee joint”.

The official statement by Alex Mumbru’s team follows. “Their evolution will dictate their availability to reintegrate into the dynamics of the group”, it stated.

Chris Jones, who joined the team from ASVEL in the summer of 2022, will surely miss the clashes against Real Madrid in the ACB League (04/12) and against his former team Maccabi Tel Aviv in the EuroLeague (08/12).

The 29-year-old has been shining in the European competition, averaging 14.4 points, 4.8 assists, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.8 steals per game, shooting 56.8% inside the area. He shared the Round 7 MVP with Johnathan Motley of Fenerbahce.
