Jordan Loyd had to leave the Real Madrid vs Monaco game on a stretcher late in the final seconds of regulation after receiving an accidental elbow hit by Guerschon Yabusele, which caused his nose to bleed.
After the game, Monaco coach Sasa Obradovic confirmed that his player suffered a broken nose and that this is the bulk of the damage.
As the club announced: “Our guard suffers from a craniofacial trauma and a broken nose with displacement. There is no brain damage but Jordan will have to have nasal bone surgery today in Monaco”.
After the surgery, the rehabilitation process and the time needed for Loyd to return to action will be decided and announced.
