The 2022-23 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Round 12 was full of great stories, game-winning shots, and crazy moments. It’s only understandable, then, that the MVP of the Round has to be shared.

Dwayne Bacon on one side and Pierria Henry on the other have been named EuroLeague Round 12 co-MVPs.

Talking about Panathinakos’ forward, he was crucial in his team’s 90-77 OT win against Olimpia Milano.

The American player had career-highs in points (31) and PIR (28), shooting 9/12 from two and grabbing 7 rebounds as well.

“The game is slowing down for me, it’s allowing me to become the best player in Europe, I want to be the best, but it’s gonna require a lot of work”, he said after that game. He’s averaging 20.3 points and 4.4 rebounds per game in the EuroLeague.

After his return following a season with Fenerbahce and a little NBA experience, Pierria Henry had his best game of the season with Baskonia so far in the 78-53 victory against Bayern Munich.

He had a double-double of 14 points and 10 assists, with 7/10 inside the area, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals. In the 2022-23 EuroLeague, he’s putting up 10.5 points, 5.8 assists, and 2.1 rebounds per game.

“It has been a great, great run. We are getting ourselves together. We are building our chemistry and it is just a beautiful thing when we can execute our game plan. All I am worried about is getting the win at the end of the day. My teammates helped me get to where I am at, so I give all props and respect to them”, Henry said after the game.

For the former AS Monaco player, this is his first EuroLeague MVP of the Round, while Pierria Henry already won it once, in Round 1 of the 2020-21 Regular Season.
