Leading Zalgiris Kaunas (8-7) to the 75-67 win over Bayern Munich, Keenan Evans has been named the MVP of the 2022-23 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season Round 15.

The former Maccabi Tel Aviv player had a career-high night with 32 points, the most scored by a green-and-white player since 2014, shooting 6/6 from two, 5/9 from deep, and 5/8 at the charity stripe.

The American also had 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, 6 fouls drawn, and only 1 turnover, performing the third-best PIR of the season, 39.

“We followed the game plan, we came to fight hard. Holidays are coming up, so we wanted to finish the right way to be able to enjoy ourselves with our families. We pushed through and finish the game”, Evans said after the win.

Since joining the Lithuanian team, he has been averaging 16.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game, shooting 56.2% inside the area, 45.6% from the perimeter, and 82.1% on free throws.
