Tomorrow at 20:30 CET, Valencia will close its 2022 with the on-the-road EuroLeague game against Milan. But Alex Mumbru will have to do without one of his most important players.

As announced by the Spanish club on its website, Chris Jones won’t play against the Italian team, as he has dropped out of the squad to receive treatment on his right knee.

“We’ve been dragging this problem for some time, we left him out in Munich due to a medical prescription, and now the doctors also believe that it’s better that he not play in Milan. There is a bit of uncertainty with his knee, on Tuesday he didn’t feel very comfortable playing before the game, although in the end he made the effort and played”, Alex Mumbru said.

After playing for Maccabi Tel Aviv and ASVEL, Chris Jones joined Valencia in the summer and instantly became one of the most important offensive weapons of the Spanish side, averaging 14.4 points and 5.1 assists in the 2022-23 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.
