Addressing apparent requirements on additional roster depth, LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne is set to secure the services of point guard Dee Bost.

The Turkish Airlines EuroLeague participant reached an agreement with Basketball Champions League outfit Galatasaray Nef to complete the transfer, according to French outlet L’Equipe.

Bost, 33, averaged 13.3 points, 5.8 assists, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per BCL contest helping the Lions win Group C of the Regular Season and clinch a berth in the Round of 16. However, midway through his fourth campaign in the Champions League, he will switch to EuroLeague to add to his current tally of 39 games played between Khimki Moscow Region in 2018-19, Zalgiris in 2017-18, and Stelmet Zielona Gora in 2015-16.

Apart from the continental level, a return is pending at the domestic level as well. The naturalized Bulgarian point guard previously played in the top-tier division of France as a member of AS Monaco and SIG Strasbourg. During his second stint at La Roca Team, he served as captain and became a 7DAYS EuroCup champion leading to the club’s promotion to the 2021-22 edition of EuroLeague.

ASVEL, coached by T.J. Parker, the brother of team president Tony Parker, sits at the bottom of the EuroLeague standings with a 6-12 record after four losses in a row, four games away from the Playoffs zone. In France’s Betclic Elite LNB Pro A, the W-L tally of 9-7 is in a four-way tie for fourth place, three games behind leading Monaco.
