According to Tomer Givari and Yakov Meir from Israel Hayom, Maccabi Tel Aviv would like to reunite with Keenan Evans, who played with the yellow-and-blue team in the 2021-22 season.

The 26-year-old was running for the EuroLeague MVP by leading Zalgiris Kaunas in the first part of the season but broke his Achilles tendon at the start of the game against Fenerbahce, ending his year.

This injury could be the reason why Maccabi would like to bring him back in the summer of 2023 when his price tag won’t be as high as expected before he had to stop playing.

He was averaging 15.9 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 3.7 assists, shooting 56.6% from two, 45.8% from the perimeter, and 81.2% at the line, being named Round 15 MVP.

With Maccabi Tel Aviv, who decided to bring in Lorenzo Brown and Wade Baldwin IV to replace Scottie Wilbekin and Keenan Evans, he won an Israeli Cup. He played in the Winner League with Hapoel Haifa as well, in the 2020-21 season.
