Valencia captain Bojan Dubljevic suffered a sprain in his right ankle, the Spanish club announced. It has yet to be determined how long the Montenegrin big man will stay out of action due to his injury.

Dubljevic is averaging 12.9 points and 4.7 rebounds in EuroLeague this season, along with 10.0 points and 6.9 rebounds in the Spanish ACB League. His injury leaves Valencia without options on the frontline since forward/center Jasiel Rivero is also out and is expected to return in the mid of February.

Per Valencia:

Valencia Basket captain Bojan Dubljevic had to leave last Tuesday’s practice after injuring his right ankle during the work session.

The imaging tests to which the player has been subjected have revealed that he has suffered a sprained right ankle.

His evolution will dictate his availability to rejoin training.
