In the 2021-22 season, Virtus Segafredo Bologna started a series based on the life on and off the court of its protagonists which ended with the EuroCup victory against Bursaspor.
This year, to celebrate the EuroLeague return of the black-and-white Italian side to the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, the project has been renovated, and as of now, it’s a unique initiative that has no rivals in terms of quality among the other Old Continent teams.
In the third episode of “UNCOVERED”, the head coach Sergio Scariolo alongside big men Tornike Shengelia and Ismael Bako spoke up about leadership inside of the Virtus Bologna locker room and how to prepare matches during a season full of ups and downs.
“The relationship with my players needs to maintain the feeling that I am on their side even if I’m yelling at them, but with a positive spirit. Meaning that we are correcting a mistake and getting better”, Scariolo said in the video.
