Pinar Karsiyaka had things under control against Zielona Gora on the way to the 77-66 win. Five players scored in double digits with Colton Iverson being the top scorer with 15.
By the end of the third quarter, Karsiyaka had a 57-41 lead and the game was practically over. The hosts shot better, defended better and never felt any kind of real pressure. Nemanja Djurisic had 16 points for the guests, Vlad Moldoveanu and Lukasz Koszarek added 13 points each, but after the first period Zielona Gora couldn’t keep up.
On the other hand Can Altinig (13 p.), Joe Ragland (12 p.), Kenny Gabriel (12 p.) and Juan Palacios (1o p.) did their job, as Karsiyaka got its second win in the season (2-3) and Zielona Gora is left at 1-4.
