Bad news for Valencia, which is fighting for a spot in the playoff picture both in the EuroLeague and in the ACB League: the Spanish team won’t have Kyle Alexander for approximately a month.

During the loss against Olympiacos in the latest EuroLeague Round 25, the 26-year-old center injured his right ankle, being forced to leave the court in the second quarter.

As officially announced by the club, “the imaging tests to which the player has been subjected this morning have revealed that he has suffered a sprained right ankle. The player will be away from the courts for approximately a month, although it will be his evolution that will dictate exactly whether he is available to return to training”.

Kyle Alexander has been averaging 5.4 points and 3.1 rebounds per game in the EuroLeague, while posting up 3.9 points and 2.3 rebounds in the ACB. In both competitions, he’s coming off the bench.
