As officially announced by the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, Wade Baldwin IV has been named MVP for the month of March. The 27-year-old had 18.7 points and 5.0 assists per game, averaging a PIR of 20.3. He is Maccabi‘s first monthly honoree since Alex Tyus won it in January of 2019.

The yellow-and-blue club is on a 6-0 winning streak. During it, Wade Baldwin IV has been averaging 19.0 points, 5.3 assists, and a PIR of 21.7, while shooting 60.1% from two, and 91.7% at the charity stripe. He was also named MVP of Round 20 this season.

In March, Maccabi Tel Aviv produced a 6-1 run, ending it in 5th place in the EuroLeague standings with a 19-13 record, behind only Olympiacos, FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, and AS Monaco. The Israeli side, which has appointed Avi Even as the new sporting director, beat Fenerbahce, Anadolu Efes, Baskonia, ASVEL, Virtus Bologna, and Olimpia Milano in this span.

The former Bayern Munich and Baskonia guard is averaging 17.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 4.7 assists, 1.0 steals per game, shooting 50.9% from two, 31.7% from beyond the arc, and 87.5% from the free-throw line in his first season with Maccabi Tel Aviv next to Lorenzo Brown.
