Fenerbahce Beko forward Dyshawn Pierre had a decisive performance in the do-or-die Game 4 win of his team over Olympiacos Piraeus with 17 points, including three crucial 3-pointers in the last four minutes.

After the victory of Fener, he talked to the Eurohoops’ Show about how he and his teammates bounced back from the Game 3 loss at the buzzer, Nigel Hayes-Davis’ great defense on MVP favorite Sasha Vezenkov and his team’s chances in Piraeus next week in Game 5.

“It’s pretty normal for people to dwell a little bit. Luckily we came back. There’s a positive side even in Game 3. Obviously, we were right there, it was the last shot. We added a bit more details, listened to the coaching plan a bit better and things worked out for us.”

It [Game 5] is going to be tough. Obviously, they have a homecourt advantage. The games last week were Wednesday, and Friday. We got Tuesday now, so adjustments are going to be made. We have to make our own adjustments and be ready.”

“He [Hayes-Davis] is making him [Vezenkov] feel tough. It’s about how good of a job he’s doing all year defensively, not only in these games here. That’s big time obviously. Vezenkov is a really good player so Nigel is doing a pretty good job, both offensively and defensively.”

“We don’t think to try to think about this stuff (when asked about the hosts always winning in Game 5). Just go out and play. Obviously, we beat them twice in the series. We should do all the right things, and avoid all things when it comes to outside noise. If we do that we should be OK. Anything can happen, we should stick to our own plan, stay together.”
